Gynecological ultrasonography is an important diagnostic imaging method used to help evaluate structures of the female reproductive system. It can be used to assess the uterus, ovaries, and surrounding tissues. When clinically indicated, it may be recommended for symptoms such as menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, or other gynecological concerns. The ultrasound findings are evaluated together with the patient's symptoms and clinical examination findings. Depending on the results, additional tests or follow-up may be recommended when necessary.
